  • Job Description: Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer.
  • Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.
  • General Job duties: Types of procedures required.
  • Flex RN Floats between various medical and surgical units.
    • Job Requirements
    • Required skills and minimum years of experience: 2-10 years experience.
    • Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: Hawaii License.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift or schedule requirements: 12-hour shifts - Night (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled.
      • 36 hours per week following first week of orientation.
      • No guarantee of hours.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.: Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes.
        • Floating to other units/departments: Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions).
        • Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.: Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15.
        • Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights; Laulima 1:6; Cardiovascular 1:4; Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves.
        • Dress Code: Professional nursing attire - clean scrubs.
        • Orientation time provided for each unit.
          • Additional Details
          • Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to contract start date.
          • Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment.
