Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment. General Job duties. Types of procedures required. Flex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical units Shift or schedule requirements. 12 -hour shifts --- Days (0645 to 1915) -- - Scheduled --36 hours per week following first week of orientation. -- No guarantee of hours. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest-- tubes. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2-10 years' experience Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC) Floating to other units/departments. Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions) Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15 Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights Laulima 1:6 Cardiovascular 1:4 Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves Dress Code.
