  • Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer.
  • Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.
  • General Job duties. Types of procedures required.
  • 3 years Intensive Care Experience
  • Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Meditech
  • Must be flexible - Day or Night shift to be determined per roster period dependent on staffing needs. 3 12-hour shifts (36 hours) per week following first week of orientation. 2 12-hour call shifts per 4-week roster period.
  • When needed may float out to other critical care and step-down units.
  • 11 Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
  • 2:1 Dress Code: Professional wear - Scrubs
  • 1 week orientation up to 40 hours
    • Job Requirements
    • 3 years min ICU experience
    • Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS, ACLS, HI license, NIH SS Cert (submit certification or take online 45 min class as part of orientation)
      • Schedule Information
      • Must be flexible - Day or Night shift to be determined per roster period dependent on staffing needs.
      • 3 12-hour shifts (36 hours) per week following first week of orientation.
