ShareSTAFF is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency
Department for a travel nursing job in Hilo, Hawaii.Job Description
& Requirements
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency
Room team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing
high-quality patient care in emergency situations.
Must have Hawaii RN license "PRIOR" to start of contract. Must be
able to work consecutive weekends as needed, rotating shifts, 40
hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient assessments and triage
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician
orders
- Perform emergency procedures such as spinal taps and neonatal
ventilator care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement
patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in case management and discharge planning
Experience
- Previous experience in acute care or emergency room settings
preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration and emergency
procedures
- Knowledge of working with people with developmental
disabilities
- Familiarity with botulinum toxin treatment is a plus
- Experience in toddler care and triage is beneficial
- Travel nursing experience is advantageous
