  • Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer.
  • Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.
  • General Job duties include types of procedures required and 3 years Intensive Care Experience.
  • Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Meditech.
  • Required skills and minimum years of experience: 3 years min ICU experience.
  • Floating to other units/departments when needed may float out to other critical care and step down units.
  • Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 11.
  • Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 2:1.
  • Dress Code: Scrubs.
  • 1 week orientation.

    • 3 years Intensive Care Experience
    • Hawaii License required by start of assignment
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • NIH SS Certification required (submit certification or take online 45 min class as part of orientation)
      • Schedule Information
      • Night Shift - 36 hours weekly following first week of orientation.
      • 3-12 hour shifts (36 hours) per week and 2-12 hour call shifts per 4 week roster period.
