Duties Summary
Designs and develops Information Technology systems and procedures
involving analysis, evaluation, and recommendations of existing
systems (manual and automated), and operating requirements for a
major area of County operation, requiring the integration and
coordination of several systems or sub-systems; develops and
implements project plans for the recommended systems; and performs
other duties as required.
Qualification Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Training & Experience: A combination of education and experience
substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college
or university with a baccalaureate degree, and
Quality of Experience: Possession of the required number of years
of experience will not in itself be accepted as proof of
qualification for a position. The applicant's overall experience
must have been of such scope and level of responsibility as to
conclusively demonstrate that he/she has the ability to perform the
duties of the position for which he/she is being considered.
License Requirement: At the time of appointment, the candidate
selected for hire may need to possess a valid motor vehicle
operator's license.
Knowledge of: Principles and practices of administration and
organization; process mapping; project leadership; programming,
problem-solving, block-diagramming and flow charting; data sources
and flow, interactions of complex systems, and capabilities and
limitations of systems software and computer equipment.
Ability to: Gather, analyze, correlate, and evaluate facts and make
sound judgments; apply analytical reasoning; determine the
feasibility of automating manual processes through the use of
Information Technology; apply Information Technology to manual
processes; integrate subsystems into the overall IT environment;
troubleshoot post-installation problems; prepare concise reports
and procedures; maintain confidentiality; supervise and work
cooperatively with others.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE. Do you possess four (4) years of
